Privacy for young people
Version 2026-09-29 (version in force)
This is an English translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Dutch version (Privacy voor jongeren) prevails.
This page is for you if you are younger than 16. It says, in short, what PowerShift does with your data. Want to read everything in detail? See the privacy policy.
What is PowerShift?
PowerShift is the app your work uses to make your roster. In it you see your shifts, tell your work when you can work, and you can swap shifts.
Who decides about your data?
Your work (the organisation that invited you) decides which data about your work goes into the app, such as your roster and when you can work. Your work is responsible for that. PowerShift only stores and processes that data for your work.
What do we keep?
- Your name, your email address and your date of birth.
- Your password, but only encrypted. No one can read it, not even us.
- Your roster, when you can work and your swap requests.
- When you last used the app.
Why?
So you can sign in, see your roster and have your work planned. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to anyone.
Who can see your data?
The people at your work who make the roster, and your co-workers see your name on the roster. A few PowerShift people can access it if that is needed to keep the app working.
What can you do?
- You can ask which data we have about you.
- You can ask us to correct something if it is wrong.
- You can download your data yourself via Profile → Download my data.
- You can delete your account via Profile → Delete account.
- Do you disagree with how your data is handled? Then you can file a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch Data Protection Authority).
Questions?
Ask your work first. You can also email hello@power-shift.nl, or ask together with your parent or guardian.
