User terms

This is an English translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails.
What is this about?
You use PowerShift because an organisation (usually your employer) invited you, or because you created an account yourself. PowerShift is a staff scheduling app provided by [TODO: naam eigenaar/eenmanszaak zoals in het KVK-register], trading as PowerShift, KvK [TODO: KvK-nummer], [TODO: zakelijk adres of postadres (straat, postcode, plaats)] (“PowerShift”, “we”).
These user terms (version 2026-09-26) set out what you can expect from us and what we ask of you. The agreement between PowerShift and the organisation itself is in the terms of service and the data processing agreement; those apply between us and the organisation, not to you personally.
Who may use PowerShift?
- You are at least 13 years old.
- Are you under 18? Then you need permission from your parent or guardian to accept these terms. If your parent or guardian agreed to your (side) job, that usually also covers using your workplace’s scheduling app.
- Creating an organisation and accepting the terms of service and the data processing agreement on its behalf is only possible if you are 18 or older and authorised to represent the organisation.
What PowerShift does for you
- You see your roster, share your availability, swap or claim shifts and receive notifications — as far as the organisation has enabled them.
- The organisation makes the roster and is responsible for the data it records about you. Questions about your roster, your contract or your work go to the organisation.
- PowerShift costs you nothing.
- We do our best to keep PowerShift working and secure, but we cannot promise the app is always available without interruptions. If in doubt about your roster, check with the organisation.
What we ask of you
- Keep your password secret and do not share your account with others.
- Enter your details, such as your date of birth and availability, truthfully.
- Do not use PowerShift to harass or hurt others, for example in a note on a swap request.
- Do not try to access data that is not meant for you or to get around the security.
If you misuse PowerShift, we or the organisation may limit or end your access.
Your data
How we handle your personal data is described in the privacy policy.
Stopping
You can stop using PowerShift at any time. You delete your account yourself via Profile → Delete account, or email hello@power-shift.nl. If you no longer work for an organisation, it can end your access to its workspace.
Changes
If we change these terms, we publish a new version with a new date and ask you to accept again in the app. Earlier versions remain available at the bottom of this page.
Law and questions
These terms are governed by Dutch law. They never limit the rights you have under the law. Questions? Email hello@power-shift.nl.
